A Heart of Thanksgiving

Sunday Mornings Sermon. In life there are a lot of ups and downs, and for some this season is a difficult time of year, so how do we have a heart of thanksgiving when times are difficult. Using Luke 17:11-19 and the story of the lepers meeting with Jesus we see that we can be thankful because when we are unclean, He is accessible, when we are broken, healing is possible, and when we are lost, heaven is obtainable.

Count Your Blessings

We are so blessed, but with the coming holiday season sometimes we forget just how blessed we really are. Along the way we need to be reminded to stop and thank God for all the benefits that He has given us. In Psalm 103:1-5 we take a look at 5 Blessings that David wanted us to remember. They are the blessing of forgiveness, health, redemption, love and renewal.

The Weight of Pride

Pride can be the most destructive thing in a persons life. The problem is that by the time we realized that pride has become a problem we are usually to far gone to fix the mistake. In this sermon from James 4:11-17 we look at how that pride gives us in improper assumptions, attitudes and actions.
