The Hinge of History

The Bible is the most important book ever written, but everything contained in it comes down to a few core truths. On the Resurrection Morning we take a look at 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and the Gospel that Jesus came, He died and He rose. Nothing is more important than that. Not only does all the truth of the Bible depend upon those event, but also each persons eternity does as well. Do you believe the Gospel?

Jesus is Better than the Angels

 In our Sunday night study through Hebrews we come to Hebrews chapter 1:1-14. In this passage the writer begins the hit the content of the book and the reason behind his writing. He wanted to express to his audience the supremacy of Jesus Christ over all things, angels included. He does so in this passage by giving us pictures of the hierarchy of heaven, the heresy of heathens and the hope of heaven.

A King No One Wanted

As Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday it marked the beginning of what we know as the Passion Week. The last week of the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ in the flesh. People cheered and threw their garments down before Him, how is it that only days later He found Himself betrayed on a cross? What went wrong? How did Jesus become the King who no one wanted?

A Mind Made Up

Before the capture and before the cross Jesus made a decision of devotion to God that set the example for all those that would follow Him. In this sermon we see the faithfulness of Christ knowing what awaited Him in Jerusalem. His time had come, His Path was set and His purpose was established so therefore He set His face toward Jerusalem and chose the cross for you and I.

Hell’s Hit List

If Hell had a hit list would you be on it? In our Sunday Morning worship service we take a look at Acts 19:13-20 and two mistakes that the seven sons of Sceva made which were; knowledge without relationship, and defeat because of deception.  Then we see one example of what every Christian should strive to be in glory through justice. Your life will either be a testimony of the grace of God, or a testament of His justice.

You have to decide if you are going the be the type of Christian that not only Satan knows, but he hates.

Raising Royalty

Our Sunday Morning Series on marriage and children. In this sermon we look at what it takes to raise our kids in a godly manner. In the life of David, king of Israel, we see the passing of the kingdom to Solomon. In his final words to Solomon, David reminds us that perfect parents are never perfect, perfect parents practice what they preach, and perfect parents prepare the way for their children. As Christians we should set out to raise royalty in our homes.
